Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Evvl, including the web application at app.evvl.ai and the downloadable desktop application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Evvl is a tool that allows you to compare outputs from multiple AI models side by side. The service is provided in two forms:

  • Web Application: A browser-based application that routes API requests through our servers to AI providers.
  • Desktop Application: A downloadable application that makes direct API calls from your computer to AI providers.

Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining your own API keys from AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, etc.)
  • You are responsible for all charges incurred through your use of third-party AI services
  • You must comply with the terms of service of any AI providers you use through Evvl
  • You must not use Evvl for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

Third-Party AI Services

Evvl facilitates connections to third-party AI services including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and OpenRouter. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • These services are provided by third parties, not by Evvl
  • Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service
  • Evvl has no control over the content, accuracy, or availability of AI-generated outputs
  • AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate

Disclaimer of Warranties

EVVL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any AI-generated content will be suitable for any particular purpose
  • The service will meet your requirements or expectations

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVVL AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the service
  • Any content or output generated by third-party AI services
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party conduct or content
  • Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content
  • Any decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated content

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Evvl and its creators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

No Professional Advice

AI-generated content accessed through Evvl does not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to legal, medical, financial, or technical advice. You should not rely on AI outputs for important decisions without consulting qualified professionals.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
